As we embark on a four day weekend, San Franciscans from Embarcadero to the foggy depths of Daly City scour the web, friends Facebook pages and invites, water cooler conversations and happy hour banter for the best happenings throughout the city. We know this because we did just that to give you a little snapshot of what’s happening.
A San Francisco Style 4th of July according to all of us at West 18 Properties–of course—is from our residential rooftops! Our tenants have a unique view from their classic Edwardian and Victorians in the Castro, the Mission District, Russian Hill, and Inner Sunset. Make friends with us and we might just invite you up there.
Every year, the city of San Francisco organizes an amazing fireworks show on the bay. It can be viewed from the wharf all the way across the bay in Sausalito and Tiburon. Take the boat out (or rent one) and enjoy the action from the water or on the beaches of SF.
Pier 39 is just one of the many lively event destinations along the ocean front in SF this weekend. Live music with ’80s tribute band Tainted Love and DJ sets to keep the party going 4th of July from 1:30-10PM. Fireworks begin at 9:30PM. Go to pier39.com for more info.
If you’re looking for warmer surroundings on the 4th, check out the 4th of July Fireworks & Summer of Love Hits with the SF Symphony in Mountain View. Showtime is 8PM. Tickets are available online at Goldstar.
